Pittsworth State High School is a co-educational secondary school of 475 Year 8 to 12 students, located in the town of Pittsworth on the Darling Downs, west of Toowoomba. Students come from both urban and rural backgrounds.
The school’s vision for shaping futures is of a vibrant and diverse community motivating and challenging students to achieve their maximum potential by setting high expectations. The school was recently awarded a regional Showcase Award for Excellence – for Community and Industry Partnerships. Pittsworth State High School is also a Gateway School in Agri-business and a Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy School.
Pittsworth State High School is a leader in innovative technology with a 1:1 student to laptop program operating in Years 8 and 9 over the past three years.
